Birthday Exploding Box for my Granny

My Granny's Birthday was yesterday, so I decided to make her Birthday card. But from card it becomes to exploding box :D with cake.

I used three adorable images from Art by Mi Ran

Cake was decorating with some flowers and leaves (Wild Orchid Crafts), heart lace, ivory pearls in three sizes and Butterfly die cut (Pippi Butterfly - Memory box dies)

Here is first digi - Rosy Cheek Emma

Second one is called All of My Heart

and third one is on the lid - Heartstrings

Happy 28th :D Birthday
(embellies - C.C.Cutters die and handmade bow made on fork)

And here is pic of closed box - dark red sides are embossed with embossing folder Swirls and added some ivory pearls to that swirls. Edges are distressed with Distress Inkpad - Festive Berries.

60th Birthday Exploding Box with Flower Girl Tilda from Magnolia

Hi everyone - I made this Exploding Box card to my going-to-be-Mom-in-law on her 60th Birthday. She likes shades of violet - so I used some violet and pink here.

Details on a lid:

I used rubber stamp Flower Girl Tilda from Magnolia (and I must say - I am fall in love with her). I've got only few rubber stamps from Magnolia but this one is my most fav.

I stamped Tilda twice and her dress I colored with pink and other one in violet shades.

I baked a cake :D from some cardstock and as embellishement I used flowers from Wild Orchid Crafts, some patterned paper from my stash, lace and ribbons, flatback pearls in two sizes, and die cuts.

And here is finished Exploding Box

You can find tutorial how to create exploding box/card here at Camilla's blog.
